Yoga at Crane Rehab Center
The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj", which means "to yoke" the spirit and physical body together. Yoga has evolved over the past thousands of years to a wide variety of styles. Having the ability to be modified to suite any fitness level, yoga is ideal for many populations, including children and seniors. Yoga has been proven to lower blood pressure, increase strength and flexibility, energize the body, and calm the mind. At Crane Rehab Center, we are here to help you grow in your health journey and become a better you.
Meet Our Invigorating Yoga Instructor
A native of New Orleans, Adero is a lover of all things related to food and yoga! She has always had a passion for physical movement and fitness. While recovering from a knee injury, Adero utilized yoga as a tool to maintain movement in her body. It was during this time that she became a regular yoga practitioner and discovered not only the physical benefits of yoga, but also how yoga plays a holistic role in improving our lives and wellbeing. She ultimately went on to pursue her training and certification in Integrative Yoga Therapy. Adero introduces her students to down to earth instruction in a friendly, non-threatening, judgment free environment. As a teacher she enjoys helping her students grow and develop in their journey with yoga, and guides them in honoring and eventually moving beyond their physical and/or mental limitations.
